# Turn a tweet into a TikTok slide

TikTok photo posts and slideshow videos use the same 9:16 frame as Reels, but the interface eats more of the screen: the caption, username and sound label stack up the left and bottom, and the action rail runs down the right.

## How it works

1. Paste the link to the post.
1. Keep the 9:16 vertical canvas and the near-black background.
1. Raise the resolution to 4x so the text survives TikTok's compression.
1. Download the JPG and use it in your TikTok.

### Why does my tweet text look blurry on TikTok?

TikTok re-encodes every upload aggressively. Exporting at 4x scale, as this page does, gives the compressor enough detail to keep text legible.
