# Turn a tweet into a Reddit image

Screenshots of tweets are a whole genre of Reddit post, and the ones that do well are legible in the feed thumbnail and free of browser chrome, sidebars and half-visible replies. Rebuilding the card gives you exactly the tweet and nothing else.

## How it works

1. Paste the link to the post.
1. Keep the dim theme and the near-black background.
1. Leave the likes and the date on so the screenshot reads as genuine.
1. Download the PNG and upload it with your submission.

Many subreddits ban editorialised or cropped screenshots, so the default here keeps the timestamp and engagement figures visible: an unmodified-looking card is much less likely to be removed by a moderator.
